The Wedding Ceremony

The whole of your Wedding can be arranged at the Three Counties Hotel. We now have pleasure in listing the details relating to the above, along with the procedures.

One of our suites will be laid out with theatre style seating, a wide central aisle and a top table with two chairs at the front of the room.

There will be a fee of £175.00.

By law we require you to undertake the following procedure in order for your wedding to be legal.

1. The Superintendent Registrar, Mrs S K Weatherhill for the Hereford Registration District, must be contacted at Hereford County Offices, Bath Street, Hereford, HR1 2HQ, telephone (01432) 350461, in order to request her attendance on your proposed date. There will also have to be an additional Registrar present during your ceremony. The Registrars will require an attendance fee, details of which can be found on the attached guidance notes.

2. It will be the Superintendent Registrar who will arange the time at which you will be married. Once you have confirmed this you should contact us so that we can arrange timings for the rest of your special day. The hours between which a marriage can be legally solemnised are 8.00am and 6.00pm. The Registrar of the Registration District in which you live. This requires you to give notice of marriage three months prior to your wedding date. However, please do not delay in contacting Mrs. Weatherhill to make an informal advance booking for the Registrars' attendance.

I hope the above information clarifies the procedure, however if you require any further information or have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact us or Mrs Weatherhill at the County Offices.
